JOIN THE JELLICLE CATS LIKE YOU'VE NEVER SEEN THEM BEFORE!\n\nCATS\, one of the longest-running shows in West End and Broadway history\, received its world premiere at the New London Theatre in 1981 where it played for 21 record-breaking years and almost 9\,000 performances. The ground-breaking production was the winner of the Olivier and Evening Standard Awards for Best Musical. In 1983 the Broadway production became the recipient of seven Tony awards including Best Musical\, and ran for 18 years.\n\nSince its world premiere\, CATS has been presented in over 30 countries\, has been translated into 15 languages and has been seen by more than 73 million people worldwide. Both the original London and Broadway cast recordings won Grammy Awards for Best Cast Album.\n\nEastern Shore Repertory Theatre will bring Cats to the 11th Annual Theatre on the Bluff on May 2 - 4\, 2024 directed by Erin Langley with choreography by Matthew Kiel. Costume design by Shirlee Idzakovich.\n\nAll shows begin at 7:30 p.m.\, and gates will open at 6:30 each evening. Patrons should bring their own blanket or lawn chair\, and picnics are encouraged. Concessions will also be available for purchase.\n\nTickets are now on sale on our website or they can be purchased at the gate on the night of the show if tickets are still available. In the event that a performance must be canceled due to inclement weather\, a rain date performance will be held on Sunday\, May 5\, 2024.
