NYHSD is a groundbreaking national event that is the initiative of
Parent Heart Watch and its 28 member organizations, including
Heart for Athletes.
This event is designed to raise awareness about sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) in youth, emphasize the importance of early detection through heart screenings, and promote essential lifesaving skills like
CPR and AED awareness.
