Description
Today’s educational series is all about France, we will talk about and taste four different grape varietals traditionally found in this growing region. Some of these grapes will be familiar while others will become your new favorites. Our trip will begin in Alsace where we drink Sparkling Pinot Noir from this mountainous area. After Alsace, we journey to Macon where we taste classic Macon chardonnay by Jean Claude Thevenet. Next on our road trip is a detour in Beaujolais. Then we finish our trip over a glass of Malbec in the home of this varietal, Cahors. Chef Emily Ackerman will pair a small bite to accompany each wine!
