Description
Join us as we travel from Northern Italy to the islands at its Southern Tip and drink a taste of four different expressions of this amazing country along the way. We will begin with one of the most recognizable names in sparkling wine, as well as Italy. The area is Veneto, and our bubbly beverage of choice is Prosecco. Next on our trip is on the opposite end of Northern Italy, in the West, and the area is Piedmont. Here we will visit the small-town winemaker Walter Massa and taste an example of his Barbera. Next on the wine road is Tuscany. Next, we will taste an example of Chianti by the reputable and well-known producer, Felsina. Finally, at the end of our road trip through Italy, we will travel by boat to nonother than the volcanic island of Mt. Etna. In Mt. Etna, we will enjoy a glass of savory Etna Rosso from our friends at Pietradolce.
