Elevated casual women’s clothing boutique is seeking motivated and passionate sales associates to join our sales team at our Daphne and Orange Beach, Alabama locations. In this role, you will leverage your extensive retail experience and passion for fashion to drive sales performance, enhance customer engagement, and foster a premium shopping experience for our clientele.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored recommendations to enhance their shopping experience
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring merchandise is displayed according to company standards
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, returns, and exchanges
- Participate in inventory management, including stock replenishment and product rotation
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of product lines and fashion trends that support our brand and clientele
- Collaborate with management on visual merchandising strategies to ensure product displays align with seasonal trends and promotional campaigns
- Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked and organized to meet customer demand
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and supporting store initiatives including pop-ups and in-store events
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of retail sales experience, preferably in women's apparel
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for fashion
- For Daphne, Alabama applicants: Ability to work at least 3 days per week (initially) from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm weekdays and some Saturdays 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
- For Orange Beach, Alabama applicants: The ability to work flexible hours Mon - Sat including day shifts from 10:00 am – 3:30 pm; evening shifts from 3:30 pm – 9:00 pm during the spring and summer tourist season; and some Sundays from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm year-round.
Preferred:
- Experience with Shopify point-of-sale and online inventory systems.
- Knowledge of visual merchandising principles
