Coastal Alabama Partnership Adds New Team Member

(MOBILE, Ala.) On July 15, 2021, Coastal Alabama Partnership (CAP) added a new member to its team. Mrs. Claire Hensley joined the CAP team as Project Initiatives Coordinator. In this new role, Mrs. Hensley will assist in the coordination of CAP’s five regional program initiatives - Policy & Planning, Insurance, Tourism, Seafood and Infrastructure. She will also manage and coordinate the RESTORE Grant for CAP's Regional Ecotourism Initiative.

Mrs. Hensley’s professional work has entailed various roles as a Higher Education Administrator at institutions such as the University of Mississippi and the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Her work has focused on the importance of community collaboration, event coordination, and student support/advocacy. She and her husband Matt Hensley live in Mobile where he serves as a professor at the University of South Alabama.
