Southern Eye Group Welcomes Dr. Taylor Wolkart
Spanish Fort, AL – Southern Eye Group is pleased to welcome our newest optometrist,
Dr. Taylor Wolkart, O.D. to our practice beginning October 25, 2021.
Dr. Wolkart was raised in Denham Springs, Louisiana, just outside of Baton Rouge. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University in 2016. He completed his optometric education at University of Missouri – St. Louis where he received his doctorate degree with honors in 2021. Dr. Wolkart is starting his optometric career with Southern Eye Group.
Dr. Wolkart has a special interest in specialty contact lenses, as well as treating and managing ocular disease.
Southern Eye Group is home to some of Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi’s most experienced and trusted eye doctors. Our practice offers an array of services performed by our optometrists and ophthalmologists at our 6 locations across the AL, FL and MS Coast.
