The Thomas Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce an outstanding commitment to philanthropy by Mr. Arthur and Mrs. Beverly Corte. Through conversations with the hospital’s dedicated nursing team, the Cortes learned that a more advanced ultrasound machine would greatly enhance the ability to care for patients with hard-to-reach veins. Recognizing the impact the new technology could have, the Cortes facilitated a gift through the Thomas Hospital Foundation for the acquisition of this state-of-the-art equipment.
The new ultrasound machine will significantly reduce the number of IV insertion attempts required, providing patients with a more comfortable experience, while also supporting the nursing team in delivering efficient and compassionate care. This advancement will make a meaningful difference for countless individuals in our community.
