Since relocating to Fairhope, Mr. McArdle has become a valued and active member of American Legion Post 199, serving as Chairman of the Building Committee and Liaison for American Legion Baseball on the Eastern Shore.

The City of Fairhope Veterans Parade is scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 10 a.m. the Veteran of the Year will lead the parade on Fairhope’s 100 year old firetruck!
