DESCRIPTION:The 6 weeks CNA program is a comprehensive course designed to provide students with theory and fundamental skills to provide the basic care skills essential in caring for patients in long-term care\, hospitals\, home care\, hospice\, and more. This class includes communication\; interpersonal skills\, documentation\; infection control\; safety and BLS CPR\; patient's rights\, recognizing and reporting abuse\, nursing skills\, vital signs\; body structure and function\, which are only a few topics to mention.\n\n\n\nStudents have the opportunity to experience classroom learning\, laboratory practice\, and supervised hands-on clinical training in a long-term care facility. After completing and passing all the requirements of the CNA program\, graduates will be eligible to sit for the state exam for certified nursing assistants.
