DESCRIPTION:MOBILE BALLET OPEN AUDITION: MONDAY\, MAY 19 Dancers age 12 and up: Audition for the 2025-2026 Mobile Ballet Company on Monday\, May 19\, 4:30-6:00pm at the Mobile Ballet studio! We have an exciting season of performances coming up\, including Phantom of the Opera\, The Nutcracker\, and Cinderella! Company members have the opportunity to perform on stage in our season productions with professional guest artists\, as well as at the Alabama Dance Festival\, educational outreach programs\, and community events throughout the year. The Mobile Ballet Company offers dancers an extraordinary training and performing opportunity with outstanding faculty and guest instructors. There is no audition fee. Requirements: - Dancers must be 12 years old by December 1\, 2025. - Male and female dancers are encouraged to audition. - To qualify for Company: female dancers must have completed a minimum of two (2) years of pointe training. - To qualify for Junior Company: female dancers must have completed a minimum of one (1) year of pointe training. - Male dancers must have completed a minimum of two (2) years of ballet training. Mobile Ballet is the region's premier classical ballet school & performing company.
