Jimmy and Sook Ribbon Cutting

The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand opening of Jimmy and Sook with a ribbon cutting! Their new location, a "Dock in a Shop" is located inside Deja New, 5 N Church Street, Fairhope, AL. Jimmy and Sook is a lifestyle clothing brand.

Jimmy and Sook's story:

Up and down the Chesapeake, they are a source of employment for adults, entertainment for kids, and an epicurean delight for all. He has been called “the perfect husband” and she always has her “nails painted”.

Just like their crustacean namesakes, Jimmy and Sook®, the shop, will be constantly molting (changing) to keep you entertained and coming back for more.

Simple, yet appropriate…our three color, embroidered crab has become the icon of the Chesapeake Bay. It has adorned several thousands of cotton pique knit shirts since its conception and introduction. Jimmy and Sook™ …their clothes and things enjoyed a Grand Opening on July 4th, 2008 and has been the center of retail excitement in Irvington ever since. (Who are Jimmy and Sook?)

The original polo shirt is now available in 16 colors. Other products have been developed and feature the trademarked Crab logo. A selection for ladies clothing as well as a line of infant and kids apparel gets the whole family sporting the crab. Tote bags, aprons, caps and visors round out the offerings. (They don‘t really wear clothes.)

The shop’s fixtures are unique and include wooden docks stacked with crab pots that are full of ’crustacean clothing‘. The merchandise selection changes monthly, so you’ll want to return often to enjoy the new additions to our collection. Jimmy and Sook™ will be on the road with stops in most boat show venues around the bay. (You got it! Jimmy is a male crab and Sook is the female.)
