WILKINS MILLER NAMES LYNDSEY DIXON A PARTNER
MOBILE, AL, January 10, 2022 - Wilkins Miller LLC, an accounting and advisory firm with offices in Mobile and Fairhope, is pleased to announce that Lyndsey M. Dixon, CPA, CVA, became a partner effective January 1, 2022. “We are extremely excited about Lyndsey joining our partner group.” said Wilkins Miller Partner, Allen Carroll. “She has great business experience and is an integral part of our leadership team and we look forward to her playing an even greater role in leading our firm forward.”
Dixon joined Wilkins Miller in 2012 after starting her career in public accounting in 2005. She brings over 16 years of experience in public accounting and specializes in assisting a variety of clients with their outsourced accounting needs, including special projects such as outsourced controller/CFO services. She also works in the forensic accounting area and has extensive business valuation experience.
Within the firm, Lyndsey has taken a leadership role in launching the Wilkins Miller Women’s Initiative. She participates in designing programming for the initiative and encourages connections for women within the firm and community through networking opportunities. Additionally, Lyndsey serves as an Expert in Residence for clients of Innovation Portal providing advisory and consulting services to start-up companies.
Lyndsey currently volunteers a significant amount of her time to Mobile Baykeeper, serving as President of their Board of Directors. She is a graduate of the EMERGE Young Professional Torchbearers Leadership Class III and a graduate of the ASCPA Leadership Academy Class IV.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama, and a Master of Business Administration from Auburn University at Montgomery. In addition to being a CPA, Lyndsey is also a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).
