USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park Announces 2023 Attendance

 

 

        MOBILE, ALABAMA, January 12, 2024 – USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park is proud to have welcomed 325,251 guests in 2023. USS ALABAMA Battleship Commission Chairman Terry Ankerson states,“Every visitor plays a part in maintaining battleship USS ALABAMA, submarine USS DRUM and the park itself. When they pay to tour these two National Historic Landmarks, they help keep the park operating. Our outstanding staff will ensure a great experience for visitors in 2024. We look forward to seeing you here.”

The USS ALABAMA Battleship Commission and staff are grateful to everyone who supported the park in 2023 and look forward to welcoming more visitors in 2024. The park’s Executive Director MG Janet L. Cobb, USA (Ret.) says, “We welcomed 325,251 visitors to USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park in 2023. Our mission is to preserve and maintain battleship USS ALABAMA and submarine USS DRUM and to tell the story of the men and women who have served our nation in uniform. If you love nature, wildlife, a waterfront view of Mobile Bay, flying a kite, fishing from our pier --- this is a place you’ll want to visit in 2024.”

The park is open for tours every day except Christmas Day from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The Ticket Office and Gift Shop close at 4:00 p.m. For more information, please visit www.ussalabama.com.
