Members of Fairhope Boy Scout Troop 47, along with Thomas and Tony Kichlar from Troup 70 in Elberta, are headed to Sea Base, a Boy Scouts of America high adventure program in the Florida Keys.
Before going on the trip, the boys were required to have COVID-19 tests, and Thomas Hospital nurses Mitsy Murphy and Abbie Woodall were there to help. The boys and their leaders will enjoy a week-long expedition, which includes snorkeling, fishing, and kayaking to remote islands to camp and practice their survival skills.
We wish all the scouts and their parents a safe trip and are excited about their fun learning adventure.
