Community Meetings About Growth in Baldwin County

BALDWIN COUNTY, AL, July 5, 2022 – The Baldwin County Commission’s Planning and Zoning Department, along with consultants from DesignWorkshop, will kick off the second round of countywide Long- Range Land Use Planning community workshops on July 11, 2022 and July 12, 2022 with a live webinar option on July 19, 2022.

The Long-Range Land Use Planning Process will be used to update the existing land use guide and is only for zoned areas of the county. Land use guides are required by law in Baldwin County. Becoming zoned in Baldwin County can only occur if the Commission is petitioned by citizens within a planning district and must be voted on and approved by a majority of the residents within the district in order for zoning to be implemented.

Monday, July 11, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, Rosinton United Methodist Church, 26011 Baldwin Beach Expressway, Robertsdale, AL 36537

Monday, July 11, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, Durant Chapel Baptist Church, 9551 Hwy 138, Bay Minette, AL, 36507

Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, Oak Hollow Lodge, 14210 S. Greeno Rd., Fairhope, AL, 36532

Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, Freedom Now Christian Fellowship, 27116 US-98, Elberta, AL, 36530

Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM via webinar. The link can be accessed at www.BaldwinOurVision.com under the “Upcoming Meetings” section.

This process will provide valuable public input as Baldwin County strategizes to address future growth within the county.
