Original Oyster House Celebrates the Best Employees in the World

The Original Oyster House will close the Sunday after Labor Day on September 10, 2023, to celebrate the best employees in the world. The 34th Annual Employee Picnic thanks employees for a job well done with a Family Fun Day at Waterville USA in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Known as an employer of choice, the Original Oyster House values family, integrity and great service. This year’s event includes lunch catered by Naman’s, a premier caterer for the Gulf Coast for over 30 years. “We greatly appreciate our employees – without them, we couldn’t continue to provide quality food and wonderful service that the Original Oyster House is known for. The annual picnic is one of the ways we show just how important they are. We close both locations for the entire day and treat them, their family and their friends, to a private picnic event at Waterville” said Joie Biancardi, human resources manager.

The Original Oyster House also recognizes staff with door prizes donated by Buffalo Rock, iHeart, Cox Media, BCBSAL and Colonial Life. And continuing the traditional food drive, everyone brings canned and dry goods for Prodisee Pantry.
