Thompson Engineering Ribbon Cutting

The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce celebrated the newest location of Thompson Engineering with a ribbon cutting. Their new office is located at 7101 US Highway 90, Suite 101 in Daphne, AL. Since 1953, Thompson Engineering has been an active participant in the growth of the communities where we conduct business. Whether it’s solving complex engineering and architecture problems or supporting our employees in their favorite community cause, driving success with our clients, employees, and communities is our mission.

From our beginnings as a construction materials testing firm to our evolution as an industry-respected leader in the planning, design, and construction of major industrial and economic development projects, our commitment to safe, quality service has not wavered. Our ability to provide creative and cost-effective solutions to complex problems in environmental and coastal restoration initiatives, port development and materials handling and storage, aviation and shipbuilding, transportation, manufacturing, energy, utilities, and education adds value to our community and to our professional lives. Thompson Engineering opened its Daphne office to better serve our Baldwin County clients. Since 1953, we have offered services to clients across the Gulf Coast. In that time, we’ve learned that each community has specific features to celebrate and localized issues to address. Additionally, with a large number of employees living in Baldwin County, it just made sense to further commit to the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay. Thompson Engineering offers multiple services from Daphne, including civil engineering, structural engineering, and geotechnical engineering; landscape architecture; GIS; environmental services; and surveying. In combo with the many other services offered from our 18 branch offices – including offices in Orange Beach, Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, and Mobile - we are well-positioned to answer the needs of state and local, industrial, commercial, transportation and federal clients.

Thompson Engineering is celebrating 70 years in business in 2023!

We are as committed to our communities through volunteer service and philanthropy as we are through our core services. In 2022, the Thompson Foundation awarded more than $100,000 in grants and scholarships to charitable organizations and students. Since the foundation's inception, our company has awarded more than $1.2 million in grants and scholarships.
